Stephen grew up in a hippie backwoods outside Melbourne, and being therefore unemployable, turned to serial entrepreneurship in the fashion and music industries. A misspent youth devouring Sci-Fi, eventually came in handy when writing his debut noel, Jubilee. He lives in coastal Mornington with Wifey, and two truculent Siamese cats.
