He holds a PhD in Information Science (University of Johannesburg, South Africa), Master’s Degree in Information Sciece (University of Wales, UK), Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science (University of Nairobi, Kenya) and Bachelors Degree in Education – Mathematics and Chemistry (Kenyatta University, Kenya). He has published extensively in international refereed journals and books. He is a first co-author of book entitled: Web Information Management: A Cross Disciplinary Textbook , published by Chandos Publishing, London, 2007. He is also the author of Digital Economics: SMEs and e-Readiness , published in 2009 by IDEA Group Publishers, USA. He is an Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Zululand, South Africa.
