Steven McNeil
Steven McNeil is Chief Curator and Director of Exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. His recent exhibitions include Heart of the House: Art and The West Coast Modern Home and A View from Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collectios. He has held curatorial positions at the University of Toronto, the National Capital Commission, and the National Gallery of Canada. He has curated, co-curated and contributed to numerous exhibitions and installations focused on historical Canadian art, including Emily Carr: New Perspectives on a Canadian Icon. McNeil holds an M.A. in Canadian Art History from Carleton University and a B.A. (Hon) in Canadian History from the University of New Brunswick.
Titulaire d’une maîtrise en histoire de l’art canadien de l’Université Carleton et d’un baccalauréat (avec distinction) en histoire canadienne de l’Université du Nouveau-Brunswick, Steven McNeil est conservateur en chef et directeur des expositions à l’Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
