Sunil MashariSunil Mashari was born in the United Kingdom to immigrant parents who travelled to the UK from East Africa in search of a better life. He grew up Hindu, went to a Christian school and now resides in the Middle East. He draws inspiration from the peope he has met and from the places he has lived and worked throughout his life, including, Munich, Athens, the US, Japan, Africa and beyond. Therefore he knows a thing or two about the idiosyncrasies and nuances of the world!Love Your Difference-Seas is a passion project, which stemmed from the idea of writing a book for two of the biggest loves of his life, his nephews Hari and Max. He has always been an advocate for positive change and throughout his life has served in ambassadorial roles for diversity, inclusion and belonging for the world's largest law firms and consulting businesses. His aspiration is to provide children a foundation and platform to be more caring and inclusive and promote acceptance, whilst hoping that he can inspire imagination and compassion through this whimsical tale. When he isn't advocating for equality and equity through his writing, he serves as a Board Trustee for a UK social mobility charity, performs standup comedy across the globe, hosts a podcast and live gameshow in Dubai and of course, amongst all of this, always remains at the behest of his incredible soulmate, Samina.
