Suphiya KhanDr Suphiya Khan is presently an Associate Professor of Biotechnology in Banasthali Vidyapith (Raj) and having 12 years of teaching and research experience. Her expertise include DNA fingerprinting and phytoremediation of Fluoride. She has published sveral research papers in international and national journals of repute and one book on DNA fingerprinting also in her credit. Her work has been appreciated in various international and national conferences that she has attended. She has got Young scientist award by Indian Society of Genetics and Biotechnology Research and Development and received the best oral presentation and recognition awards also in the International conference. She has been the recipient of merit scholarship in secondary education and won various prizes for extracurricular activities at the school and college level. Department of Biotechnology Research Associate ship (DBT-RA) has also been awarded to her for three years. She has successfully run the DNA fingerprinting lab as she got two major projects from the funding agencies viz UGC and MHRD, under the Center for Excellence “Water and Energy” programme of 11.50 laks and 2.25 crores respectively.
