Surbhi Agarwal
Dr. Surbhi Agarwal is a passionate and dedicated professional in the field of public health and nutrition and committed to addressing global health challenges and promoting health equity. She is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associae at The University of Edinburgh working on two projects of Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF, focusing on gender-related barriers to immunization and improving prediction models for malnutrition prevalence. Dr. Surbhi Agarwal has also contributed significantly to various projects aimed at improving nutritional status among women of reproductive age in India during her collaboration with the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). In addition to her research roles, she has been actively involved in teaching human nutrition and dietetics to food technology students.
Dr. Agarwal’s academic achievements involves Ph.D. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London, specializing in understanding global health challenges and employing innovation to achieve sustainable health improvements and another Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from University of Delhi. She is also a life member of the Nutrition Society of India.
