Susan VentoSue Vento is widow of Congressman Bruce Vento, who died of mesothelioma on October 10, 2000. Ms Vento is a member of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation Board of Directors and activist in support of mesothelioma and asbestos disease victims nd their families. She is also Chair of the Coalition to Protect Victims of Mesothelioma. Ms. Vento co-authored 100 Questions & Answers About Mesothelioma and wrote the preface.Since 1983, she has been a field staff member for Education Minnesota, working with and for public school teachers and school employees. Earlier in her career, she was an elementary classroom teacher (1976-1983). She is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN.
