Swagat Kumar Das

Swagat Kumar Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Odisha University of Technology and Research, (Formerly College of Engineering and Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He obtained his PhD from Ravenshaw Universty, Odisha, India. He is a Fellow recipient of Eurasian Academy of Environmental Sciences (FEAES) and Society of Innovative Educationalist; Scientific Research Professional (FSIESRP). Dr Das has more than 14 years of research and teaching experience. He has published more than 30 publications in various National and International journals, 12 book chapters, and was awarded with one patent. His major research interests and areas include bioactive phytopharmaceuticals, antioxidant, antidiabetic potential of mangrove-based phytochemicals, etc. He has edited 3 books and co-authored 3 practical books with reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Apple Academic Press, I.K. International.
