Swayam Gangulyyam Ganguly was born and raised in Jamshedpur and currently lives in Kolkata. He wears many hats: a published author, director of corporate films, editorial consultant for various publishers, an aficionado of sports and an enthusiast of Indian cuture.

The spontaneous induction of the Gayatri mantra at a young age made him curious and passionate about the diverse culture and rituals of India. However, his dispassionate research backed by a rational mind allows him no fanatical glorification or preaching.
