Syamsul BachriSyamsul Bachri is an associate professor of disaster risk management at the geography department, social science faculty, state university of Malang, Indonesia. He is recently appointed vice dean of research, innovation, and community engagement. Befre, he was the head of the master's and doctoral geography education study program. He graduated with his Ph.D. from the Department of Geography at Innsbruck University Austria, and he continues researching geography related to disaster management and sustainable development.
