Syed Mudasir Ahmad
Prof. Syed Mudasir Ahmad is a distinguished scholar and researcher with 16 years of expertise in biotechnology. Prof. Mudasir is currently serving as the head of the division of animal biotechnology at SKUAST-Kashmir, India. His areas of reearch include biotechnology, bioinformatics and bioengineering. Prof. Mudasir has done his PhD in biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia, India and IIIM-Jammu, India, and postdoctoral fellowship from the University of California, USA. His extensive career has been highlighted by groundbreaking research and countless contributions to the scientific community. His findings have important implications for public health and veterinary science, providing novel and innovative approaches to disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Notably, Prof. Mudasir has developed a recombinant multiserotype vaccine for salmonellosis in poultry to enhance food safety and poultry health. He is also involved in many innovative projects, focusing on AMR, omics technologies, and bioengineered products. Prof. Mudasir’s research is well-funded. He has published more than 110 research articles in prestigious journals and has written many books. Prof. Mudasir is also an editorial board member of many reputable journals.
