Taki TheodoracopulosBorn in Greece in 1936 and educated in America, Taki Theodoracopulos began his career as an international tennis player before finding his true calling as a writer. For nearly five decades, his celebrated High Life column in The Spectator has offeredreaders an insider's look at the worlds of politics, culture, and high society. Taki co-founded The American Conservative with Pat Buchanan in 2002, and later founded Taki's Magazine in 2007. In addition to writing for The Spectator, he has been a regular contributor for National Review, Vanity Fair, and Esquire ("when they were still good").
