Tara HardyTara Hardy was born in raised in southeastern Michigan, but now writes in the emerald city of Seattle where she was elected Poet Populist in 2002. She holds and MFA from Vermont College, and is the working class queer femme poet who founded Bent, thenation's only writing institute for LGBTIQ people. A founding member of Salt Lines, the all woman performance poetry group, Tara tours internationally.
