Teri MaloneTeri was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a young child, her family moved to Maryland. When she was thirteen years old, her mom remarried. She inherited a larger family, a sister, a brother, and a dad! In 1987 she moved to Upstate New York and livd close to the Adirondack Park for thirty years. She raised her son as a single mom. In 2017, Teri decided to move back home to Maryland to be near family and establish a new life without a lot of snow! She moved back home to Maryland in 2018. Writing children's books has been a dream of Teri's since college. Teri decided to retire early from the banking industry. After a divorce, Teri decided to publish her books. Teri is an avid gardener, growing many organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. She also cans her vegetables, as her mom and grandmother did when she was very young. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. Her favorite place to visit in the United States is the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Teri is an animal advocate, from wildlife safety to companion pets and horses. She donates to charitable organizations regarding awareness and rescue.
