Terrance J BrownTerry, a Distinguished Military Graduate, received a commission in the US Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corp and graduated with a degree in architecture. He served a year at the Army Engineer School in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, as an instrutor teaching map reading and cross-country travel to Officer Candidate Students before he received his orders for Vietnam. His drawing skill was honed during his architectural studies. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and is recognized internationally for his prolific pen and ink drawings and contributions toward promoting cultural sensitivity in his architectural designs for native American communities. He is also the author of "Sketchbook on the World: Pen and Ink Travel Sketches," published by Sunstone Press, which includes some 400 pen and ink drawings and stories of his travels worldwide.
