Terri Britt WattsTerri Britt Watts is originally a native of Ahoskie, North Carolina, born to the late Frank and Daisy Britt. Terri graduated from Ahoskie High School. The school's name was changed to Hertford County High, in 1978. Terri left Ahoskie and joined the mlitary. She served for twenty years in the Army and retired December 1, 2000. She then attended Fayetteville State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She also earned a Special Educational Teacher's Licensure and taught Special Education for nine years. Terri attended graduate school and obtained a Master's degree in School Administration. Terri finally fulfilled her long-life dream of becoming an author and published four books, titled: The Other Side Of My Prayers; Confronting The Guilt Of My Past; Your Body Is Your Temple; and her newest release, Bitter Root and Bitter Root II. Terri shares an abundant life with her husband, David. Together they are the parents of four children and seven grandchildren. Terri's hobbies consist of reading the Bible, walking, bike riding, light weightlifting, mentoring adolescents, swimming, sewing, writing, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
