Working in the Travel Agency Industry for several years while attending Florida International University, he graduated in 1978 with a degree in Hospitality Management. After decades in the Hotel, Travel, and Culinary Industries (Hospitality Management), he became a Municipal Government Senior Procurement Contracting Manager, earning certification as a Certified Professional Public Buyer until retiring in 2016.
