Theocritus
Theocritus (300 BCE-260 BCE) was a Greek poet known for his pastoral poetry that depicted rural life and the beauty of nature. Charles Stuart Calverley (1831-1884) was an English poet and translator renowned for his wit and humor in translating clssical works.
