Theodor E MommsenTheodor E. Mommsen (1905-1958) was a German born historian. He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Berlin in 1929. In 1936, after immigrating to the U.S., Mommsen became an instructor at Johns Hopkins University.
