Tianming GaoGao Tianming is an Associate Professor, School of Economics and Management, Harbin Engineering University, China. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Industrial External Trade from Harbin Engineering University, Master degree in Management from the Rusian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, and Ph.D. degree in International Economics from Moscow State Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. He has over 15 years of professional experience as a general representative of Chinese transnational corporation in Russia and the CIS. He is a Director and Chief Expert of the Center for Russian and Ukrainian Studies (CRUS) and Arctic Blue Economy Research Center (ABERC) at Harbin Engineering University, Deputy Head of the Heilongjiang International Economic and Trade Association, leading consultant of governmental bodies and commercial organizations in the sphere of economic collaboration between China, Russia, and the Republic of Korea. Dr. Gao is an author of many publications related to China’s Arctic policy and developments, China-Russia and China-Nordic collaboration in the spheres of economic development, industrial policy, and investment.
