Tijuana CollierB.A.L.D.: Lillie's First Day of School is the debut children's novel for mother daughter duo Tijuana and Khaila. Together, they launched their company B.A.L.D. Beauty Always Looks Different, LLC as they seek to raise awareness about the differnt types of hair loss and support those affected directly or indirectly by it. Tijuana is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. In 2010, she was diagnosed with scarred alopecia, an autoimmune disease, which resulted in hair loss. She hopes to inspire others with her story as she encourages, promotes, and celebrates those who are different. Khaila attends Duke University where she enjoys being a member of the cheerleading team. She intends to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry.
