Tim CrossTim Cross was born on the 18th of March 1953 at his parents' home in the village of Spratton near Northampton. His father was a leather tanner and his mother was the daughter of a brewer. He went to the local village school before he was sent to a bording school called Beachborough in the village of Westbury near Brackley.
