Tish Greene WynneTish Greene Wynne Growing up as a child in rural Massachusetts I always had a fascination with wildlife and nature. I would explore my outdoor world without fear or limitations. With this fascination, I started to draw at a very young age. Encouragedby my mom, who had seen the natural talent I had, she supplied me with the tools to be creative. I would always be drawing something or outside exploring. In all the years of schooling my teachers encouraged me to push my boundaries with what I could create. An A in art was the norm for me. In high school my teachers encouraged me to show my work in local art shows where I would start winning awards. My art was chosen for the advertising poster for the San Diego Museum of Art student show. This was a glimpse of what was ahead for me in the creative art world. I am now an award winning fine artist, graphic designer, muralist and screen printer. I have worked in the graphics dept. for many years in the screen printing industry as an artist and eventually started my own company creating and selling custom t-shirt designs. My painting career took off when I started painting murals. I now paint in the fine arts field, which was a dream of mine since the beginning. I paint in acrylics, oils, watercolor and pen & ink. My paintings have won awards at both the San Diego County Fair and the Orange County Fair along with other fine art shows at local art galleries. Over time I realized that my art tells a story and has a childlike and whimsical style that was perfect for children's books. So I decide to write and illustrated my first book Tigers in the Clouds. I enjoy the creative writing as much as the painting. With this enjoyment and creativity more illustrated children's books will soon be a reality. Read More Read Less
