Tom BeerTom Beer is the Chair of the IUGG Commission on Climatic and Environmental Change (CCEC). He is an expert on environmental risk management, including greenhouse gas and air quality issues and their application to transport and health. Past positions nclude being President of the Australia-New Zealand chapter of the Society for Risk Analysis and President of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG). He was part of the team that won the CSIRO chairman's medal in 2000.
