Tom Evens
Tom Evens is an assistant professor in media industries at Ghent University and a senior researcher at the imec research group for Media, Innovation and Communication Technologies (imec-mict). He specializes in the economics and policies of digita media and technology markets, and has widely published on the media business in international peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. He is the lead author of The Political Economy of Television Sports Rights (Palgrave, 2013) and Platform Power and Policy in Transforming Television Markets (Springer, 2018) and the co-editor of Media Management Matters: Challenges and Opportunities for Bridging Theory and Practice (Routledge, 2020).
