Tomáš Hoch

Dr Tomáš Hoch studied Political and Cultural Geography in Ostrava, Czechia. Since 2022, he is associate professor at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Development at the University of Ostrava. He is a member of the >British International Studies Association, British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies and Association for the Study of Nationalities. His previous books include De Facto States in Eurasia (co-edited with Vincenc Kopeček, Routledge, 2020). His papers have been published by, among other outlets, Europe-Asia Studies, Comparative Southeast European Studies, Soviet and Post-Soviet Review, Problems of Post-Communism.
