Umesh Chandra SharmaEr. Umesh Chandra Sharma is associated with Department of Chemical Engineering, University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), C S J M University, Kanpur since 1999. For a brief period, he has also worked at University of Petroleum and Enrgy Studies (UPES), Dehradoon.He has long experience of teaching all major chemical engineering subjects. He did his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from H.B.T.I. Kanpur in 1995 and 1999, respectively and currently pursuing his PhD from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad. He was an editorial board member of widely acclaimed multi-volume series on Nanotechnology published by Studium Press LLC, USA undereditorship of Dr. Shishir Sinha and Dr. N. K. Navani. He has 2 papers and 3 book chapters' publications to his credit. He has organized 2 national conferences, attended 22 short-term courses, presented papers in 6 national/international level conferences and has delivered 7 invited lectures. Apart from teaching and technical writing, he enjoys writing poems, short stories and novels; reading spiritual literature and world history, and playing violin.He is a great lover of western classic music of Richard Wagner and Ludwigvan Beethoven.
