Uzair SajjadDr. Uzair Sajjad is a postdoctoral fellow at the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Sustainable Energy Systems at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Energy an Refrigerating Air-Conditioning Engineering at the National Taipei University of Technology in Taiwan for two and a half years. He completed his PhD at National Chiao Tung University Taiwan and, for his research excellence, was awarded two science and technology awards by CTCI Taiwan. He is investigating different topics of heat transfer, energy, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, surface engineering, heat pump and vacuum freeze-drying, and additive manufacturing. He has won 3.5 million NTD grants from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in Taiwan, China. He has published over 80 SCI articles and book chapters in these areas, garnering over 3400 citations. He has also served as a reviewer and guest editor for many respected journals.
