Valerie JonesValerie Jones is a retired journalist who spent many years on sailboats. She started working as a cub reporter at 15 and continued as a reporter, editor and publisher for local, regional and national publications her entire working life, winning manyawards along the way for both writing and photography. She was born in England, and grew up in Connecticut and Scottsdale, Arizona. She has also lived in San Francisco; Carmel, Indiana; Boston; both coasts of Florida, and the Bahamas. She divides her time between Bero Beach, Florida, for the weather and Phoenix, Arizona, for the mountains and desert. She now travels in an RV with her aging dog and feral cat.
