Varalakshmi PP. Varalakshmi is the Director of Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Research and Applications (CAInDRA), and Professor of Department of Information Science and Technology, College of Engineering, Anna University - Chennai. She has oer 25 years of teaching and research experience in the fields of grid computing, cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, internet of things, networks, and security. She has published more than 200 papers in reputed journals and conferences, and has guided 13 doctoral theses. She has also received several grants for her research projects and innovations. She is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education and a reviewer for many international journals. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring young researchers and students.
