Vern HarrisVern Harris was raised in the small community of Stonyford, California and served in the Vietnam War before relocating to Australia where he raised his family. He has been a talented sportsman, lumberjack, soldier and secondary school teacher as wellas keen outdoorsman.Vern is a recognised member of the Bishop Paiute Tribe and feels strong connection to them.He attended Yuba College, Humboldt State and Chico State where he also played baseball.Vern served in Vietnam with the US Army from 1968-1971.
