Victoria Malko is a faculty member of the Department of History and founding coordinator of the Holodomor Studies Program at California State University, Fresno. She is the author of articles on the U.S. and international responses to te Chechen wars and the monograph The Chechen Wars: Responses in Russia and the United States (2015); author of an article on Russian disinformation and denial of the Holodomor as genocide in the collected study Russian Active Measures: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, edited by Olga Bertelsen (2021); author of the textbook on the history of the Holodomor as a genocide of Ukrainians with archival documents and eyewitness accounts, Holodomor, the Genocide of the Ukrainians: A History with Sources (2023); a member of the editorial board of the bilingual scientific journal of the Department of History of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, American History and Politics, and of the Scientific Board of the National Holodomor-Genocide Museum.
