Vidya Dhar PandeyDr. Vidya Dhar Pandey, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, Government Post-Graduate College, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, M.Phil. from Jawaharll Nehru University, New Delhi and Ph.D. from Kumaun University, Nainital. Possessing brilliant academic career, he qualified NET in Life Science conducted by CSIR-UGC, and NET in Plant Physiology conducted by Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board. His primary field of research interest covers microbiology and cyanobacteriology. In addition to an edited book, he has published several research papers in national and international journals, and contributed chapters in edited books. He has participated and presented his research work in various national and international conferences. He is the life member of Association of Microbiologists of India. With more than 12 years of experience in his profession, Dr. Pandey has been teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate students, and guiding research scholars for Ph.D. degree.
