Vincent SpinaVincent Spina was born in Brooklyn, NY. He received his Ph.D. in Latin American Literature from New York University. HIs primary field of study is Andean Indigenous Literature and Culture. His dissertation on the works of the Peruvian author Jose Mara Arguedas was later published in Spain (Editorial Pliegos) titled El Modo Epico en Jose Maria Arguedas. He the author of two collections of poetry: Outer Borough (Pecan Grove Press) and Dialogue (the Poet's Press). His occasionally publishes in literally magazines, Voices in Italian Americanana and The Bridge Literary Arts Journal among others. He currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.
