His current research focuses on synthetic carbohydrate chemistry.Dr. Tiwari has supervised twelve PhD theses and his research has been documented in 140 peer-reviewed publications. Additionally, Dr. Tiwari holds several patents & has written book chapters which have received awards from various academic societies. He is a highly-travelled scientist and has delivered over 155 invited lectures in India and abroad.
