Vinothkannan Ravichandran

Dr. Vinothkannan completed his graduation from SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. He began his research career as a Research Associate at IIT Madras, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Shandong University-Helmholtz Institut of Biotechnology, China. His primary research focuses on drug design targeting quorum sensing pathways in multidrug-resistant bacterial pathogens. He is currently a faculty member at Amity University, Mumbai, where he teaches courses in biochemistry and bioinformatics. Dr. Vinothkannan has authored 56 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Grant, the Shandong University International Exchange Fellowship, the DST-SERB Start-up Research Grant, and the DST NIDHI PRAYAS Grant. In addition to his research and teaching contributions, he serves as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and PLOS Pathogens and is also a member of the editorial board of Scientific Reports.
