Virendra Singh

Dr. Virendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University's School of Biotechnology, specializing in cancer genomics and epigenomics. Holding a Ph.D. in Bio-medical Pathology, they possess extensive research experience in identifing cancer diagnostic and prognostic markers. Their work has yielded 16 international publications in esteemed journals, including Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics and Immunology Letters. A recipient of prestigious awards, such as the American Society of Human Genetics' Developing Country Award (2020) and the UGC-Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr. Kumar has also presented their research at numerous national and international conferences. As an educator, they teach courses on oncogene research, immunology, and emerging technologies. Additionally, Dr. kumar serves as a reviewer for the journal Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment and is a member of the American Society of Human Genetics (2020-2022), demonstrating their expertise and commitment to advancing cancer research.
