Virginia L GroganVirginia Lewise Horger Grogan ("Ginny Lew") was born in Virginia. Her father, Lewis Horger, was born in Texas, and her mother, Virginia Dorlon, was born in Troy, N.Y. - the great-great-granddaughter of William and Ann Cluett. After studying mathematis, she worked for G.E. in Philadelphia for 2 years, but then turned her attention to working with youth - native Americans in South Dakota, troubled children in Seattle, WN, and Latinos in Denver, CO.Her interest in family history began with a visit from her cousin, Emily Dorlon Rodemann, in the early 1980's. They did research, contacted relatives, and published a family newsletter, which included information about the Dorlons, Cadbys, and Cluetts. After transcribing (and then photocopying and distributing) original letters sent to and from Emily Cluett Cadby and her Cluett family in Troy, Ginny "met" her 3rd cousin, Robert Cluett IV and his daughter, Marjorie.Ginny has three children: Lewis (deceased), Kathleen Andriunas (Colorado) and Jeffrey (Oregon).
