Vitaliy PrusovVitaliy A. Prusov has been graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". He is the Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics. His research interests are associated with the experimental an theoretical problems of mechanics of liquid and gas, numerical methods for solving equations of mathematical physics, mathematical modeling of the circulation of the atmosphere and the anthropogenic impact, and numerical methods of weather forecasting. Since 1983, V.A. Prusov has been the leader of more than 10 research projects of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine related to the development of numerical weather forecasting systems for different regions and periods. Since 2003 he is a professor of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Kyiv National University by Taras Shevchenko.
