Vivek Agarwal Vivek Agarwal (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in physics from the St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, the master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and the Ph.D. degree in electricl engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada, in 1994. After a brief stint with Statpower Technologies, Canada, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) in 1995, where he is currently a Chair Professor. His research interests include power electronics with focus on power quality, renewable energy conversion, microgrids, and high frequency link power conversion. He serves on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics as the Co-Editor-in-Chief and IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications as an Associate Editor. Read More Read Less
