Vivian ZabelWith a father in the Air Force and a husband whose life took him various places, Vivian Zabel lived the life of a wanderer until she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1992. She began her life on Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, and changed schools twenty-to times before graduating from high school in Limestone, Maine. Returning home to Oklahoma, she began college and finished a semester at what is now Southern Nazarene University. She married and worked short-time jobs as she raised children until all three were in school. After returning to college at Oklahoma Panhandle State and graduating, she taught English, speech, debate, drama, and writing for nearly thirty years. Although several of her short stories, articles, and poems had been published, she didn't have time to write books until she retired. The grandmother and great-grandmother has several books published and more to be released soon.
