Vladyana KrykorkaVladyana Krykorka emigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia in 1968. Having studied art and architecture in Prague, she continued her education at the Ontario College of Art. Working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, she has won awards fr book illustration and magazine design, including the Ruth Schwartz Award and the Canadian Children's Book Centre Our Choice Citation.
