W D BurseyDean Bursey was born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador. After spending many years as a protestant minister, he became a chaplain in an Ontario provincial correctional institution. Dean holds two master's degrees from Canadian universities and aDoctor of Education from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He and his wife Esther have three grown children, eight grandchildren, and presently reside in Southern Ontario. Dean is a first-time author whose passion for Canadian history and Newfoundland heritage comes through in his humor and natural gift for storytelling.
