His research seeks to understand how people, victims and perpetraors, recover from racism. Currently, he holds the position of Professor of Practical Theology at Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University. He is the founder and director of Openseminary, an innovative educational method that utilises inductive theological inquiry.
