Sc. has over 30 years of experience in fisheries and aquaculture research and management with a specialization in genetics, biotechnology, aquaculture and biodiversity conservation. He is a former Director of ICAR-Central Institut of Fisheries Education, Mumbai and National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow.
