Wana Ann FortA pioneer Southern Baptist missionary to Zimbabwe, Dr. Wana Ann G. Fort, together with her doctor husband, Giles, launched a spiritual awakening through medical missions at the Sanyati Baptist Hospital where they were the first doctors in 1953. Throuh nearly 36 years of service with national believers and missionary colleagues, countless people came to Christ. One of three female graduates of Baylor College of Medicine in 1949 and recipient of their Distinguished Alumni Award in 1990, Wana Ann is a contributor to books such as Dream Builders and A History of Medical Missions.
