Wayman BrittWayman Britt honed his leadership skills in many settings--athletics, business, and county government. As captain of the University of Michigan basketball squad, he helped lead the team to the 1976 national championship game. He held several managemet positions at international office furniture maker Steelcase before turning to the public sector where he rose to administrator/controller of Kent County in West Michigan. In that role, he fostered a culture of accountability and excellence. In every organization, Wayman earned a reputation for working to nurture greater opportunities for disadvantaged youth.
