Wayne BoydWAYNE EDWARD BOYD was born in Morristown, New Jersey, in 1953. He studied physics and psychology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas then moved back to New York where he joined the Hare Krishna movement and became a vegetarian in 1973. Iniiated by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada as Vipramukya Das, he spent the next 30 years travelling, studying and teaching the ancient texts of India.He started writing Time Gods in 1995 while in Brooklyn, New York. During its gestation, he lived in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and London, stood at the top of the Eiffel Tower, hiked in the Himalayas in India and Nepal, and got married in Texas. In fact, in the course of his 57 years, he has visited 37 countries, 49 states in America, 9 out of 13 Canadian provinces and territories and 3 Australian states.Wayne completed Time Gods fifteen years later while living in the Texas Panhandle where he currently works as a correctional officer.
