Wei JieWei Jie has been actively involved in the area of Parallel and Distributed Computing for many years, and published about fourty papers in international journals and conferences. His current research interests include grid computing and applications, ecurity in distributed computing, parallel and distributed algorithms and languages, etc. Dr Wei Jie joined the University of Manchester (UK) on February 2007. Prior to this, Dr Wei Jie was a Senior Research Engineer at Singapore's National Institute of High Performance Computing. He received his BEng and MEng in Computer Science from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (China) in 1993 and 1996, respectively.
