Will Barnet

Will Barnet held teaching positions at the Cooper Union, Yale University, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His works can be found in nearly every major public collection in the United States, including the Whitney Museum of Amrican Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the National Gallery of Art. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the first Artist's Lifetime Achievement Award Medal given on the occasion of the National Academy of Design's 175th anniversary. He was also awarded the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama in 2011.
